Simon Middleton, Protek’s Managing Director will be hosting a Masterclass Session on how to manage risk during your self build project at the National Homebuilding Show in Birmingham later this month. During this insightful session he will be sharing many of the unforeseen issues that regularly occur on self build, renovation and conversion project. Seeing the real live claims that occur on sites like yours, will help you understand the risks that can affect you during your project.

We will explain the insurance and risk management product solutions that are available to you. We will go through the detail of how these work in your best interest to help protect you in the event of a loss, damage or injury occurring on your site.

Protek’s Self-Build team, which is based in Edenbridge, Kent successfully completed their local Hever Commando Series event at Hever Castle this weekend. The event raises money and awareness for the important work of the Royal Marines Charity  In favourable conditions and amidst slight trepidation, our troops disembarked their landing craft amid a frenzy of smoke and noise makers before engaging the twenty four challenging marine inspired obstacles positioned around the five kilometre course.

Protek’s MD Simon Middleton said “The Hever Commando Series course definitely lived up to its description as being the only event that can recreate the mud, sweat and pain of modern day Royal Marine Commando training. The military warm up alone was gruelling and that was before we’d started!”
